EN32-23 MTB Enduro/Downhill Rim 29"

The EN32-23 (32 for inner width, 23 for depth) aims at being a sturdy and confidence-inspiring carbon hoop for a broad range of riders. The impact strength reaches 160J, yet the weight is reasonable at 480g. The vertical compliance reaches a balance of not being uncomfortable on roots and rock gardens, nor too flexy when pushed to limits by aggressive or heavy riders.

The wide rim bed (32mm int width), paired with wide rubbers, offers reliable grip and control. The rim is constructed to use 32 spokes, with the nipple bed asymmetric from the centerline, offering evenly tensioned spokes on both sides. The protruded nipple hole design features extra reinforcement to prevent rim cracks under harsh drops. The hookless rim bed features tubeless bead locks to hold tires safely. Designed for trail, enduro, downhill, and e-bike adventures.

Product Testing

Impact Test

Impact Test

Our impact tests follow UCI standards for road, cyclocross, and gravel wheels—performed without tires. For MTB wheels, tests are conducted with tires mounted to simulate real-world conditions. Impact standards for private label products can be fully customized.
Stiffness Test

Stiffness Test

We measure both vertical and lateral stiffness to assess how the rim performs on specific terrain and the ride feel it delivers. A static force of 30kgf (lateral) and 50kgf (vertical) is applied to the rim during testing. Test conditions can be customized to meet your product or market requirements.
Tire Inflation Test

Tire Inflation Test

Strong tire retention under high pressure is a key indicator of rim quality. During testing, the rim width variation must remain within 0.2 mm to ensure consistency and safety. Test parameters can be customized to meet specific customer requirements.
Wheel Building Test

Wheel Building Test

A rim is only one part of the wheel system. We verify drilling angles, stiffness, and rim geometry to ensure seamless integration with spokes, hubs, and nipples.
Spoke Pull-Through Test

Spoke Pull-Through Test

Spoke holes are critical stress points. Each new rim design undergoes pull-through testing to ensure proper reinforcement. The minimum pull-out strength must exceed 320kgf to pass.
Greenhouse Test

Greenhouse Test

The Greenhouse Test is designed to simulate extreme conditions, such as when a wheel and tire assembly is exposed to high temperatures during transport in direct sunlight. This test is conducted in accordance with ISO 4210-7:2023, section 4.4.
