At NTP Composites, we offer three flexible manufacturing models—OEM, ODM, and Contract Manufacturing—designed to fit your brand's specific needs. Depending on your technical expertise, desired level of product differentiation, and available resources, you can choose one or even combine multiple models across different product lines.
In the OEM model, your company brings the product concept—and we handle the manufacturing. You provide the specifications, performance requirements, and visual design. We bring your ideas to life using our in-house engineering, advanced manufacturing facilities, proprietary tooling, and robust quality control systems.
You maintain full control over branding, product differentiation, and intellectual property—while we manage the heavy lifting behind the scenes.
Every OEM project is unique, but here's what a typical process looks like at NTP:
You can approach us with a detailed drawing or just a concept. Together, we refine your design—2D/3D files, materials, performance targets, testing protocols, and production feasibility. For complex or unconventional designs, we may produce a 3D-printed prototype for stakeholder feedback before moving to mold creation.
We build exclusive molds and begin sample production. Through multiple layup iterations, we fine-tune weight, stiffness, and ride quality. After passing internal testing, 2–3 samples are sent to you for lab and field validation.
We source raw materials, components (hubs, spokes, nipples, etc.), decals, packaging, and more—either from our trusted supplier network or new vendors tailored to your needs. You’ll be involved in all key sourcing decisions, with guidance from our OEM specialists.
Once the layup version is approved, we run a pilot batch to ensure production stability. Full-scale manufacturing begins once the pilot passes QA. Final assembly is done in-house, aligned with your specifications.
We apply rigorous QC throughout—covering incoming materials, in-process checks, post-processing (e.g. decals, coatings), and final inspections. Our goal: consistent quality and performance across every unit.
Products are packed according to your branding and logistics needs. We handle global shipping—from bulk container loads to express air freight.
Your dedicated project manager remains involved after delivery—supporting reorders, product updates, and troubleshooting. We see every OEM partnership as long-term.
Benefit #1. Expert Manufacturing, Made Simple
We bring years of specialized experience. Founded by a former senior engineer at a top-tier contract manufacturer, NTP’s team includes skilled technicians and production staff with 3+ years of carbon composites experience—critical for hand-crafted parts like carbon rims.
Benefit #2: Strict Quality Assurance
Our mature QC system includes IQC, PQC, and OQC checkpoints, ensuring consistent weight, strength, tolerances, and ride feel.
Benefit #3: Full IP Protection
You retain full rights to your designs, molds, and IP. We sign NDAs and uphold strict confidentiality—your designs stay yours.
Benefit #4: High Product Flexibility
Unlike ODM, OEM gives you full control over geometry, structure, performance, materials, finishing, and more. Plus, you can switch suppliers in the future without losing your designs.
Benefit #5: Efficient Resource Allocation
Let us handle development, sourcing, production, and logistics—so you can focus on branding, marketing, and sales.
Benefit #6: Turnkey Service, One Point of Contact
Your project manager at NTP oversees everything: mold creation, supplier coordination, production timelines, QA, logistics. This streamlined communication keeps your project on track.
1. Choosing the Right Partner Is Crucial
A strong OEM relationship hinges on trust. Since your product’s success depends on our execution, your project manager plays a central role—from initial concept through future iterations and support.
2. You Need a Clear Product Vision
OEM works best when you already have a clear concept or design. While we help refine it, the direction must come from your team—especially when it comes to performance specs and testing expectations.
3. Cost Transparency & Change Management
With many moving parts, changes during development may incur extra costs. We maintain open communication and always get your approval before proceeding with changes.
OEM is ideal for:
